Erika is native of Pennsylvania and moved to West Virginia 27 years ago to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice with an emphasis in chemistry and social work. Erika attended the WV State Police Academy and served as a law enforcement officer in the Charleston, Wheeling and Morgantown area. She later joined the Child Protection Unit with the West Virginia State Police as a digital forensic analyst. Her time in law enforcement gave her a vast knowledge of the area and the importance of home and community safety. In her spare time, Erika is a certified personal trainer and teaches online classes. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters. Serving the community and others is her primary motivation.
