Meet Ryan

Ryan was born and raised in the small, coastal town of Crystal River, Florida located north of Tampa. Before graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2007 from Florida Atlantic University, Ryan balanced his studies in Criminal Justice with his love of sports and played for the FAU football team as a Running Back (Go Owls!).

After college, Ryan pursued his passion for service for both his country and community by joining The Department of Homeland Security. After 11 years as a Federal Agent in Tucson, Arizona, Ryan accepted a position as a Special Agent in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he continued his career combating terrorist, transnational, and other criminal organizations from all over the world until 2021. On top of his regular duties, Ryan was trained as an EMT and served on various Special Operations teams and Joint Task Forces.

Ryan married his college sweetheart, Mariana in 2009. Mariana was born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and is a former beauty pageant winner, Miss Brasil USA 2000. Together they have three wonderful, rambunctious boys, Cayde, Liem and Konnor.

In 2021, Ryan and Mariana decided it was time for another adventure and moved to Morgantown, West Virginia. The fresh mountain air and wide open space are the perfect canvas for them to focus on their family, build lasting friendships, and be closer to extended family all over the Northeast. What better place to raise their family and “put down their roots” than somewhere described as “Almost Heaven”?

Ryan’s passion for service is as strong as ever and he is excited to continue serving his community as a Real Estate Agent. Ryan is especially excited to assist the First Responder, Military and Medical community in their Real Estate endeavors. He is uniquely aware of the challenges and sacrifices of being a part of this community. And that’s why he promises his Real Estate Clients, the same commitment, integrity, and tenacity that propelled him to excellence throughout his Law Enforcement career.
