MEET AMY

Amy is a dual career realtor. With over 20 years of experience as an educator, she has taught subjects spanning from Spanish to Special Education, with seven years as an elementary teacher. Her current position as elementary school librarian is her favorite. The teaching life, has given Amy time to develop a unique skill set that applies to the world of real estate.

Amy enjoys taking a rough situation and transforming it into something beautiful. During the pandemic she realized she wanted more than teaching was providing her, and plunged into the beginnings of an exciting real estate career. Having had personal life experience with unexpected change, she is always grateful for opportunities to help clients find a graceful flow through the stages of life, as they apply to buying and selling homes.

Amy’s known by her friends and clients as having grit. She is persistent and passionate about everything she pursues. Amy is in it for the long haul, and that is what real estate is, a journey.

Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree plus 45 hours in Special Education, all from West Virginia University, and certifications in elementary education in both WV and Maryland.

Amy currently resides in Fairmont, WV. In her personal life Amy loves to garden, practice yoga at several local studios, sew, read, and spend time with her adult daughters.
