MEET MICHELLE OATES DUDA
Michelle is one of North Central West Virginia’s top real estate producers, selling over $75 million in sales volume since 2020! As a lifelong resident of Morgantown, Michelle possesses a unique and in-depth knowledge of the Morgantown community. The relationships and connections she has fostered over the years will be a very valuable asset to those new to our area. These relationships are what sent her on a path to beginning her real estate career, when Ryan Bashour, owner of Compass Realty Group (the 1# independent real estate agency in sales volume for 2022), recruited her to his new agency.
Michelle is something of a “jack of all trades” in her education and work path. Michelle earned Master and Undergraduate degrees in Accounting from West Virginia University. She has worked in numerous sectors of industry including mortgage banking, higher education, property management, homeowner association management and regulation, and interior design, as a partner in her staging business, Monarch Interiors. Her passion and eye for design and construction, combined with her business and banking experience, will provide buyers and sellers with a distinctive view of their real estate options.
In 2019, Michelle started a video series called “All Things Morgantown”, highlighting some of the wonderful businesses, events, and neighborhoods the community has to offer. In 2021, Michelle took on a real estate partner, Zack Pell, and they formed The Extra Mile Realtors. They pride themselves in staying ahead of real estate trends and technology, and their beautiful marketing has garnered accolades. Their strong communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills will be beneficial to their clients as they move through any real estate transaction. They are both self-starters and motivated individuals who will work tirelessly for the interests of her clients, by providing unique, personalized service, not a “one size fits all approach”.
Giving back to her community is also very important to Michelle. She has been involved in fundraisers for WVU Children’s Hospital, United Way, Girls on the Run, Libera, Lauren’s Wish, Mon County Child Advocacy Center, and many more.
Michelle credits her close relationships with family and friends for allowing her to prosper in her various “life projects”. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with those she loves, reading, writing, gardening, and taking care of others.
